i just got around to watching TWCiSO's svcd of mullholand dr.
i wanted to know if anyone(other than darkslide) has seen this movie. i mean dont get me wrong.. i dug the movie..but i think lynch was trying to make a cult comeback since his movie "The Straight Story (1999)" lynch is famous for making movies that leave you thinking "what the fuck?" when the credits roll.. but this is by far the biggest one yet... somebody tell me wtf happened.. where the fuck did betty go?

Gosford Park is really good. Well worth seeing. I was gonna do a review thingy on it, but i watched The Cat's Meow that night instead (which sucked).

Mullholand Dr. was really good. I have no idea why coz i don't know what the hell went on in this movie lol. I like Lynch's other movies better. Twin Peaks, Wild At Heart and Eraserhead etc.

BTW, Jack Nance is dead. He was murdered in a donut store in Dec 1996. I only found out yesterday. That's totally done my head in.

yeah.. thats why its so hard to find a copy of eraserhead..
i got an R2 dvd of it before they pulled it off the shelf when he died

Shit, is that true? I never knew that. No wonder i can't find a copy. *sob*

Poor bloke though, he died trying to stop a fight in a donut shop and some people beat him in the head, he got home and his friend called for him the next day and found him dead.

If that wasn't bad enough, he was married to a porn star or something who self-asphyxiated herself in 1991.

That really sucks ass.

Is the DVD available now though? I heard it was going in a box set or something?

as far as i know theres no dvd widely available.. if you look at auctions and stuff you could probably find a copy of the R2.

its even harder to find an originaly VHS copy of it
