I am just now finishing the book Dune by Frank Herbert. I know that there are several movies out there about it. I was just wondering if you guys had any suggestions on which version I should watch. I hear many different comments about the movie. It seems that people either liked it, or they really hated it. Any opinions?

didn't know there was more than 1 version of the movie but i do know i really hated it

the best part about it was the dirty language lol, book is prabobly soooooooo much better then the flick

david lynch happens to be my favorite director.
& frank herbert just so happens to be my favorite sci-fi writer. The dune chronicals, a six book series is a must read.

you should watch the original version by lynch an aviod the tvminiseries, it really sucked.

also avoid the edited/extended version, which david lynch had his name taken off of, AKA the stan smithy version.
