Crazy Theatre Seal

Bloody Sunday

Synopsis: A small Irish film making unit attempts to recreate the fateful Sunday that an Irish political march was launched in Derry Ireland.

Great Movie except for a few flaws:
The camera action filmed as it was on standard video camera (as opposed to 35 mm )gets blurry and out of focus in certain action sequences, also just general camera pans zooms were to hasty and not well thought out. The scenes should have been broken up at times as there seemed to be an ongoing “live action” improvisation.

Pluses:
Great Acting, I absolutely envy their accents. Awesome linear storyline which depicts the actions of both sides as events unfold.

Overall I’d say they’ve done a great job recreating what so many seem to have forgotten.

I doubt anyone outside of Ireland and most of the UK has forgotten. A shameful day indeed.

as i am from the north of ireland i would agree with billy as not a lot of people would have forgotten that day even though is was a bit before my time.
but i watched the film thought it was a great film for the buget it had and it near brought tears to my eyes watching it.
all in all a good show!!

Your alleged flaws are intentional - it's to give the impression of having been filmed by an eye witness. It's based in reality and on the facts unlike many Hollywood productions, "<INSERT NAME OF FILM HERE> - A True Story(TM)".

Yes i'm well aware they've done it intentionally... my preference is based on what I would have done with the film.
