OLD SCHOOL... a teen comedy for the 30 something croud

Went and saw a sneak preview of Old School, the new Will Ferrell/Vince Vaughn movie on Thursday night. A real downer. Vince Vaughn is the only character in the movie who keeps it from being a total waste of 2 hrs. I really hope this isn't the final version that Dreamworks plans on putting out. The plot line ran almost like a film of test shots. There didn't seem to be any character build up at all and zero interaction between the main character and anyone else. It was as if they were just told stand here say this a move alone.

Vince Vaughn was the only saving grace. He again returned to the screen with the Swingers personallity, however, he was only a supporting character. Had someone at Dreamworks actully read the script they may have been able to deliver something a bit better than this.

Not worth downloading or going to see for free

i thought it looked funny as hell when Will Farrell told the lady he was going to kill her, and then he said he was joking... that's comedic genius, but i think it'd be atleast worth a download...

What the hell are you talking about? I just came back from the sneak preview and I have to say it is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen in my life. Will Ferrell is hilarious in this movie, how could you not credit him in your review? Vince Vaughn was also great, but Ferrrell stole the show. I wasn't the only one who thought it was funny, the ENTIRE audience was rocking in their seats the whole time because it was so damn funny. I don't see how anyone could find it not hilarious.
And for a rating, I'll give it a 10/10 A+ because I don't remember anything else that has ever made me laugh that hard.
Anyone who liked Road Trip, Billy Madison, Dirty Work or any other movies like that will NOT be disappointed.
