help with a goodmens dvd player

i have a goodmens GDVG138 model and it has a led saying vcd and when i try to play a vcd it just comes on the screen with stop and wont do nothing so if any 1 could help plz wright bk or e-mail me on [email protected]

In my experience VCD players that say they play VCD dont mean dick. What they mean is that they will play Silver Pressed VCDs (Like you pick up in Asia etc). What you should look out for is a DVD player that plays CDR.

Of course this doesn't help you. Check out

http://www.dvdrhelp.com/

and look up your dvd player in the DVD Players section. Other users of your player might have found a work around either in the form of a Firmware Update, a secret menu to enable vcd/cdr playback or even found a CDR medium that will play (It happened to me with my 1st DVD Player. It only played with a certain brand of CDR)
