Samsung Mc-20 Svcd Problem - Help!!!!

Hi Guys,

I have Samsung MC-20 dvd player. This plays svcd/cvd's without any problem and has been doing so for the past year.
Recently everytime I watch a SVCD it works fine for 15 to 20 mins and then pic starts to freeze up. This never used to happen and I have seen many svcd's without any problems previously.

Any idea why this has started to happen now? Does it matter what CD-R disk is used?

DVD and VCD work fine. SVCD starts of perfect and everytime it reaches 15-20 mins the pic starts to freeze up.

Please help!!

Cheers.

It's love baby!

Do all your svcds do this, or just one particular one? If only one, then its a bad encode job.

Thanks for the reply mate.

Most SVCD's which i get now of new movies are the ones getting stuck. I have Monsters Inc SVCD and that works fine.

Most SVCD's that get stuck on the DVD player work perfectly on the computer. It seems its definetly something to do with the DVD player or could it be the cd-r's i'm using?

VCD's and DVD movies work fine. Its just SVCD and DVD-R's (which used to work perfectly before) that seem to get stuck although the SVCD works fine on the pc.
