ok.. umm, in the hulk TV series his name was David Banner (Bruce's Father in the movie) so The new Hulk is the original Hulk's son? Cuz in the movie they talk about "we had to go through this with his father" or something, but then his father was the elements. Then i went researching more and Bruce Banner was the name of the comic book, so is the original Tv series/movies based on his Fathers adventures and the comic/movie is based on Bruce (the sons) adventures?! WTF?!
Ang Lee has tried to modernize the Hulk by having Bruce experience the Gamma Bomb blast as a young child instead has
a grown adult as he was in the comic book.
Its not politically correct to have above ground bomb test these days.
I dont ever remember bruces dad being involved in the comic I
believe that was added by Lee to add drama to the story.
I can tell you that Bruces dad wasn't the Absorbing Man who was
the character in the comics that had the powers Eric Banner protrayed.

on a MTV special they said the tv show called him david banner instead of bruce cuz back then bruce was a homosexual name. then stan lee came out and said the people who made the show were idiots.
bruce didn,t get blasted with gamma rays when he was younger in the new movie.... his father david passed on a genitic imbalance to bruce when he was born... because of testing done on himself.... which coulped with bruce getting hit with gamma rays later in the film triggerd him to turn into the hulk

and the nanomeds. on another note, the guy who played Bane in that aboniation of film Batman & Robin would have played a better hulk than CG hulk. he just looks more real as a green guy.
