It's Official: Indy To Return on May 22, 2008
Paramount on Tuesday confirmed that it will release the next Indiana Jones installment on Thursday, May 22, 2008. The studio also said that it plans a simultaneous worldwide release of the as-yet-untitled film, which will be produced by Lucasfilm Ltd., directed by Steven Spielberg, and star Harrison Ford. Frank Marshall will receive the top producer's credit, while George Lucas and Kathleen Kennedy will serve as executive producers. The screenplay was written by David Koepp. The studio had previously announced that production will begin in June.

The Last Crusade imo was the best Indy movie. Unfortanately Connery won't be back. I though him and Ford had great chemistry together.

Just saw the trailer. I am looking forward to this one. After all Stallone pulled off Rocky and Rambo (which he does on an alternate night basis I believe )

Raiders was great, didn't care much for the second, and I agree Connery did greatly increase the enjoyment of the third. Hoping this will be a good finale, although I have thought nearly all of Fords other roles have been shite, except for Han Solo of course. Bit of a crap actor overall if you ask me, or maybe just crap at choosing scripts. Still he made a handful of good films, I suppose he can always reminisce..I wonder if he ever thwanged Carrie Fisher?

You really don't like Harrison Ford in other movies?

Blade Runner?
Mosquito Coast?
Patriot Games?
The Fugitive?
Clear and Present Danger?
Air Force One?

To name a few of his best.

So he's made a couple of bad ones in recent years. Hollywood Homicide I switched off after half an hour and the less said about Firewall the better but come on dude, Harrison Ford's a legend. + Temple of Doom kicked ass.

I concede to Blade Runner (forgot that one).. and I haven't seen mosquito coast, but none of the others impressed me. Just not my type of film. Maybe I just grew up with him being a dry witted action hero and refuse to see otherwise. Anyhow, a legend he definitely is, but only for a select few films that would have been very different without him. imo

Temple of Doom had no nazis, but did have that little asian kid...He was pretty funny.
