the one you can't recall

Who's the greatest Bond villain?

I'm going to leave this open to interpretation. If the greatest means the best weapons, strongest jaws , sexiest body, most reflective gun.. you name it as you see fit.

Myself, I think the greatest James Bond villain was Jaws. A giant of a man with steel teeth, I think Jaws is *it* so far as Bond villains go.

Richard Kiel played Jaws in The Spy Who Loved Me and reprised the role two years later in Moonraker.

Let the thread begin

goldfinger - too tacky
jaws - too ugly
oddjob - too ethnic
pussy galore - too bossy
baron samedi - bad oral hygiene(sp?)
carver - too smarmy

ultimate villian was...

...that bloke with three nipples, Scaramanga is it? Whatevere his name was, anyone with three nipples is a beast.

I agree with Carson, Jaws was the best Bond villain. He was one scary mother f**ker, the kind of guy you don't want living next door to you. He was especially good in Moonraker I thought. The only other baddy that possibly challenges him is oddjob, his razor sharp hat that he threw was just such a cool weapon.

But Jaws it is.

I cant pick a villan from a Roger Moore Bond movie..god awful he was.

I'm going with a new villan..Xenia Onatopp from Goldeneye
Yes was just so damn sexy! Famke Janson at her best

or from the same movie..the REAL villan of the movie...
Alec Trevelyan played brilliantly by Sean Bean. Going against an old friend always makes for a good villan

Jaws scared the shit outta me as a kid. Those metal teeth and that evil grin he gave before killing someone would shit me up so badly.

Jaws wins. Easily.

edit - Best bond girl. Ursula Andress. WOW. She was genuinely beautiful.

I wish I could have an answer, But I have never seen a Bond movie all the way through, So my opinion would be pointless. But I do have Die another day on dvd but never seen it, well I saw 1/3 of it, Halle Berry looked hot in it.

dude ... Bond movies rock! I love them. They're the only movies that my parents let me stay up past my bedtime to watch on TV when I was a kid. You should definitely go rent the ones with Sean Connery at least. Or ... do they still have Bond weeks on TBS? They used to show 14 Bond movies in a 7-day period every 6 months or so ... 'twas excellent.

Looks like the group INR recently released internals of the whole set of DVDs. Maybe they're still floating around somewhere ...

Supreme Movie Overlord

My own personal choice for Best Bond Villan would be none other than Oddjob and Goldfinger himself.

Oddjob had the cool hat, and he could give Jaws a run for the money.

But Goldfinger had the best line.

Bond, "You expect me to talk?"

Goldfinger, "No Mr. Bond I expect you to die!"

cool no??

It's love baby!

Jaws wasen't really a villian, he was more of a thug.

My favorite would have to be Dr. No. One of the best James Bond movies. Followed by Goldfinger, with the quote that Moviegod gave, one of my favorites.

Dr. No: "The Americans are fools. I offered my services, they refused. So did the East. Now they can both pay for their mistake."
James Bond: "World domination. The same old dream. Our asylums are full of people who think they're Naploeon. Or God."
