sry, but i'm confused, can it be true a DVD-Rip just a few days after the Screener? Or is it just a PDVD-Rip?

It's a DVD-rip.

The quality is excellent!

Props to ESVCD! Pathetic rules considering .gi files though.

Just checked it out on my 104 inch screen Looks very good. Looked like a pal retail copy. Had menuanimation and lots of subtitles choices. Full dd 5.1 surround sound. No extras but I believe that retail is gonna be 2 discs so that's not a surprise. This looks like the real deal people. Download and be happy

Just watched the sample too. Certainly doesn't look like it's from either VHS Screener or PDVD sources! Very Nice!!!

This is a real DVD rip, not a PDVD or a screener. VCDQuality is slow though, this was released yesterday morning.

Excellent quality, watched it this morning. Was actually expecting some cheap attempt of someone putting the screener on dvd with a menu. I was wrong, looks and sounds excellent. Nice n early too by about 2 months

Great job!

As for the .gi files. Don't see why it should be nuked. It took literally 1 minute to put it back to ISO using ESVCD's fix nfo.

Ok, I'm *really* sorry for being the n00b here, but after having downloaded the movie I can't get the RIDEMYPENIS fix working. All it does is deleting the matrel.gi file. What am I supposed to do, xept NOT using the "fix"? Anyone?

what was the original problem with the .gi's?

is this just an application issue? or will the final burn be messed up?

HI
Use Prassi Primodvd, go to loading image files and load the smallest file and let the file names keep their brackets.

Cheers

To use the fix u must first take out the space from the .gi file names

(ie: matrel (11).gi (to) matrel(11).gi)

do this for file 11,12,13

then run rmp-m2dvdrproperfix.bat

takes about 15 min
------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is definatly a PDVD
Stream:
Type: MPEG2
Bitrate: 7.500 Mbps
Framerate: 25.000 Hz
Resolution: 720x576
Aspect ratio: 16x9

Never seen a DVD Coded less then 9.000 Mbps, especially without any DTS.

Also has a cheesy menu.. parts from the movie. But for a
PDVD it does look nice. Definatly not retail.

First of all you don't need the Fix use Pioneer RecordNow DX
software. If you plan on playing this on your standalone DVD player it won't play if your player is not region 2 compatible. I have 3 DVD players so I had no problems. The Dolby Digital was solid sounded better on my home theatre than the theatres.
I would love this thing if it was DTS. The retail is not DTS...this sucks. probably wait for a superbit edition. The menu is exactly what the retail will look like according to original source. There is sort of a problem with the picture aspect ratio since this is in pal it might be the reason. When in anamorphic mode the picture seems too squash. when anamorphic is off its longated. Anyways this release is good til retail in october. will still buy the original.
Its a good movie with cool special effects. The only thing I hate about it is too much f*****g talking.

I would back up what has already been said by also guessing this is indeed a PAL RENTAL DVD copy. Menus are nice, but simple, sound and picture perfect.

Pity the film is so awful.

Exactly, average 4-6, not max bitrate. This is maxbitrate 7mbit. If the final DVD looks like this then I'll eat my shoes. And I'll be back to gloat when the retail comes out with cgi interactive menus, dts, and extras. This thing doesnt even have so much as a trailer, or fake vobs to show maybe something should be there, I seen better STV menus then this. If you believe this is retail, then pHo, I'll never let you forget you said that. If I'm wrong, I'll never doubt you again. It's a bet.
