mount the images in daemon tools and play 'em in windvd. see if they finish ok there.

i'll agree that you shouldn't use nero though.

hi

you should check that the whole movie is there to be burnt.

do this by viewing it on your comp first that wat i do. oh and sometime nero cuts of at the end its to do with buffering i think you need i really good comp to ensure that it doesnt happen i use:

P4 2.4
512 MB memory
30 GB hard drive

works fine for me all the time.

oh and i have a philips cd-r and a pioneer dvd-r drives

i always use nero it is the best
just one tip for you try not to use your comp when burning and close all backgroud programmes free up all your comps memory in other words.

It's love baby!

If you have a cue and bin files, use Fireburner, works for me about 80% of the time, and each time it works, the cds play just fine on my computer or stand alone (Samsung).

There's a reason why people here are saying not to use Nero. One of the reasons is here: http://www.hvrlab.org/~hvr/vcdimager/nero_bug.html ...and here's another: http://www.cdfreaks.com/news/7638

If you had read his post, you would've noticed that he's having problems with Nero, so why tell him to use it?

btw, for Alcohol 120% all I have to do is this: drag the cue into the main window, click 'burn image' and I'm ready to burn the bin/iso; doesn't seem so hard, does it? ...and I'm pretty sure it's "quickness" is the same.

MinTek 2580 player and Nero Svcd Cut Off

I don't know if this will help or noxx, but I had trouble with a particular newer versions of nero making SVCD disks.

I have dual boot and have nero 5.5.5 on win98 and 5.5.9 on win 2000. When I was using the 5.5.9 the disks were not playable from PC and I could not copy the file back to PC from Disk. When I used the 98 5.5.5 everything was fine Thank goodness my Mintek 1600 will play them also now my MinTek 2580. You may try using a different version of nero or a different program all together

Editor note: I also try to install nero ver 5.5.5 on my xp pro box but no luck so far. If anybody know how to get this nero version working on os pro, please apply nfo on how to install nero 5.5.5.

Another thing you can try is flash your Dvd player rom chip.

Editor Updated note: info on Nero Bug Svcd Bad Sectors. Sometime this site might be down or link been rearranged with a diff url just do a search at google with the keys words "nero bug bad toc sectors"

2nd Editor Updated nfo: Here another site talking about burning Svcd bad toc sectors properly
