Chief Phil Ossoffer

Stop wondering about the quality -- this is obviously a re-pack of FTF's version. I watched the FTF sample... it has the same odd-shaped rectangle screen that shows in these jpegs (but not in FTF's jpegs).

I checked them out-- the only other "release" from "HafVCD" this year was a NUKED "screener" of HOW HIGH (rated about 3/4/~).

Are you blind? The video on this release is way better then FTF's, and is better then some CTP releases. It's a shame the audio only comes from the left channel.

brr8760 how can u say it's a repack? i watched both samples, wtf u talkin about the odd shaped rectangle screen? if u really watched it, you would have seen a little black line on the right of one, and the hafvcd is a trapezoid shape, im not saying either is 'good', although in the hafvcd one, you could obviously see a quality difference in faces. I can't assume u looked only at the jpegs, but damn it sounds like it.

The facial expressions i was referring to, was the ftf's sample w/ the white corridor and the kid walking(very fuzzy) and the war-room in hafvcd's(clearer, but still quite fuzzy).

i disagree...this is kind of crisper then the ftf because u cant really read the subs in the ftf...in this one u can.

Also, the audio only comes out of one speaker, but if u MUX (take the sound from the ftf and lace over this one) it should be better

IMO

same source as FTFs, same audio errors at the same spots. had this version 2 days ago, as TuCVcD (but there was just the sample floating around, havent seen the full rls). bad quality, way too blurry.

Some ppl on this board are thick as shit. Let me explain one or two things. This is not a repack of FTF release nor is it from same source (if you even suggested this then pls go point at yourself in a mirror and laugh.) The reason it's an internal is because the group did not believe the quality was good enough for a proper release. Picture quality looks better than FTF release as is sound but unfortunately its only mono thru the left speaker.

Still a decent rls imo and I know ill be watching it.

PS everyones expecting a centropy release soon and it might be worth waiting for if the quality is anything like spiderman.

Star Wars: Episode 2

Maybe you can just download it, and stop argueing about quality etc. It's pretty amazing that somebody took the effort in shooting at in a cinema at all....

You have to have a pretty good Newsgroup program, such as Newspro. Because this theater-rip is being posted in the
alt.binaries.vcd newsgroup you may want to apply a filter first for the following keyword:

ftf-swep

success....

Does not look like a re-pack.

I have only gotten as far as downloading the mpg samples, but they look totally different. One is even taken at a different angle.
