id say you are a moron....first off, check my posts anywhere, i am no CTP dick sucker, i just know movies, and this was a great movie, cause i like the genre...but i wanted quality...and if flix was real, id see a real DVDr of it...but they prolly used the TC vobs that Incite used, i have seen both rlses, and CTP's AR is correct...dont believe, look up on www.amazon.com morons...will tell you the correct RETAIL aspect ratio....inferior is a funny word, should be used to describe people that cant easily check their sources before a rls, its not that hard....shit CTP did the retail dvdr, i think that alone should tell you their source is real and FliX was not..its like all those people who thought the SWAT DVDR was real, after it stated R3 RETAIL and had the thailand menu as the sample pic...i mean seriously, are people fucking mental...anyhow, thanks for a real rls of this CTP, grabbed the dvdrip for fam and the dvdr for personal....yea YEA

i just got to say 2 things
1. hey commiewhore, incite was a 2.35 too... so flix being same... BS, flix is pal, ctp is ntsc, period
2. ctp tried making a point with thier png images, however, when i opened them, i noticed something funny, like in 2.flix.png, we see the moon, whereas in 2.ctp.png its "cropped", same with 3.flix.png we have red lights, whereas in 3.ctp.png they are "cropped"... go figure, i say i'll stick with a video that has more "picture" then one that is "cropped" (hence stick with flix rather then ctp's)

enuff said the pics spoke for themselves, thx ctp for including them... lol

Commiewhore.. U make no sense

ok.. even tho this CTP release is awesome qual.. it's plain and simple that they lost the race.. therefore got nuked. Commiwhore.. If you were more around the scene, you'd prolly know that. Second.. enough with your suppositions that <<but they prolly used the TC vobs that Incite used>> U got no idea, neither where FLiX sources are. So either u stop blaming other people for what their really think (FLiX def. kick their ass on that one) or deal with the fact that CTP were pretty lame on that one.

flix beign the same ? theirs is 1:85 ...didnt we already talk bout this, or wasnt CTP clear enough for you, that doesnt match retail dvd, so guess what, who gives a fuck its not retail, so what if the pictures have cropping, its called encoding with 16:9 bars...grps do it....but you are right on one thing, thanks to CTP for including the pics, so we can see that AR is off on the FLIX and to say that PAL AR retail will be differrent than AR retail of NTSC..is pretty fucking retarted....i came back to give my movie rating, cause i forgot the first time, since i was in such a rage...anyhow, if you ever encoded a PAL dvdr or a NTSC DVDR, if the retail AR's match, the encode will match...flix nuked on all the best sites...and im so glad CTP did the dvdr to prove it was retail...where was flix's dvdr again, i dunno maybe they were hoping people wouldnt notice, maybe hoping to trade it off, who knows...what we do know, that PAL and NTSC AR , if same from retail and you can check the PAL AR on amazon's uk site....its the same encode...so what was your point again?

video = 8
sound = 9
movie = 9 <--- imo, depends if you like the genre, i think the actor casted for kraven was a bad choice, but again, my opinion, the rest of stuff on AR i stated is pure fact...look it up...pz

I think CTP has a retail copy, but maybe the Retail PAL copies have a different aspect ratio (maybe).

I think there should be a scene rule that would require groups to scan their “retail” boxes to prove they aren't bull shitting us.

lmao - you obviously have no idea how groups are supplyed. Sit down before you hurt yourself.

This release is NTSC and should be labeled as such, as well as FLiX's PAL version. Both should be nuke for mislabeling

CTP release looks much better, there is no question about it

I grabbed this a day or less before flix release their so called retail..

Underworld.2003.iNTERNAL.TC.SVCD-ToF (also same source as iNCiTE)

the quality was fuckin awesome, but the video was slightly cropped which makes me think maybe flix used the same source and mislabeled.

the internal ToF & iNCiTE video and sound quality was truly awesome, many would call it a retail if it wasnt clightly cropped.

Here are two screenshots I took from powerdvd. I set the video quality to "bright".

Click and save. Then compare. Flix has more vertical picture, yes.
But compare the color. Ctp is much more vivid.

CTP:

It'd be nice for another group to PROPER, giving us the best of both worlds: Crisp, brighter images complete with all the picture.

God

FLiX has more picture becuase it isn't retail, end of story. Sorry FLiX, but learn to label correctly. If you see it in theaters, you will see CTP's picture, with less picture.

10/10/8 great video, much more crisp and vivid colors considering how dark the movie's to start with. loved kate beckinsale and enjoyed the movie quite a lot. some people jus don't get it, flix release isn't retail, if u go buy the dvd in stores, u'll get the widescreeen 2:35:1 aspect ratio centropy release and centropy even released a dvd-r to prove that there copy is retail. btw, centropy is one of the few groups who actually know what they're doing, they'd rather take their time and release a movie that's greater quality and labeled as it is than be concerned with winning a stupid race.

Yea really. U guys couldnt be more right. These dumb ass n00bs on irc and even on here, keep saying the shit is "cropped" and cant seem to fucking realize thats the way its supposed to look.

If i rip a DVD right now with bad AR and can claim to see "more of the pic" well i guess that would be correct. The shit is stretched so duuuhhhh, ur gonna see more lol. But with a bad AR of course.

So a proper gets released with the right AR, and then they say its cropped. Dumbasses man, sheesh.

Thumbs down on FLIX for that shit tho. Really gay trying to pass off a DVDRip like that, and normally release legit rips. Guess they just had to "win the race" on this one lol

Looks like you are the dumbass noob now. Try checking the picture before you comment.

Flix has a different AR (not a bad AR) as if from a different source. CTP appears cropped because less of the picture is there, as if cropped in comparison.

If they were from the same source you would need to crop to get ctp release. Understand now?

If you haven't seen the actual rips (which you obviously haven't) then just check out the jpgs posted above as examples.

Thumbs up Both versions...

I've watched both versions. The CTP rls is incredibly better in quality.

Both are dark, yes, but it is a dark movie.

The CTP rls is the one for all of you, enjoy.

FliX's release actually has more picture, it isn't stretched or anything like that, however that is irelevant because it is a non-retail copy, the retail is 2.35:1 and flix's release was 1.85:1, more picture or not, it doesnt matter its not a retail rip, and therefore this proper is needed.

anyways about this release, i ended up picking this up, i just finished watching it and it was very nice, there were a few video glitches, but im not sure if that was my dvd player or problems with the encode, either way it still had very nice video. the audio was also very nice, it sounded like real 5.1 on my system with prologic II on, surrounds got a good work out, very nice audio. the movie was actually a pleasent surprise, i dismissed this during its theatre run, but decided to pick up this rip anyways and it was actually a pretty cool flick. all in all good rip and pretty good movie, definitely a keeper.
