I was about to go hunting for this release when I realised I already had the retail disc.
So whilst I can't comment on the quality of the rip I hope my opinion on the film alone is equally valid.
This is one of the best pieces of British cinema ever. Although ostensibly about football ( soccer ) it doesn't once feature a match. The real story is concerned with a group of undercover police charged with infiltrating the organised violence that surrounds the game. In their struggle to join the "big boys" they must cross the boundaries of what is right.
The character development throughout this film is stunning and the lead role is played to perfection.
The Tagline : When you go undercover, remember one thing: who you are
It says it all.
If you haven't seen this film I can highly recommend it. Its brutal so don't show the kids.
