Ok after reading some of the posts...and *scratches head*... I have an interesting suggestion to make......You have good moderators..and you have ones I'd like to smack their bottoms..cause they are never online in these rooms..but they have the title as a mod...


I honestly suggest....if you want a mod...Consider the following and not make this a popularity contest....Let the people decide who should be a mod as one of the considerations, as well as the amount of time...the members posts in here...and if they would treat other members of vcdquality.com "fairly" is a word one of the members used....

With all that information to the mods...who never, and MG says never come in here...make room for someone who honestly cares for this place..and knows the difference between right and wrong.....

Thats how in my opinion you get a good moderator........

I think it's a good idea to have the people vote to others... It'll be just like in Student Council again, but hopefully not just for the popularity.

I think it could work, but we all truthfully know who he's going to go to. Not me, not anyone else other than MG. You got the way with the people, no one realizes that I'm not bitchy all the time and can help until they get at me on AIM. I just get tensed up when I'm her when I see the things I see on the BB everyday.

Maybe... I have helped many people off of VCD-Q, it's really kinda odd how many people pop up and say 'Are you Thug?'. I got that on IRC every few days, which is weird when I'm recognized like that.

But I still think it's a good idea, and I thin that everyone, including X69 should give it a chance.

I get harrassed about becoming a mod far too often in the chan, and i'll say the same thing now as before.. if i see a problem on the board, then theres obviously a staff problem. *IF* i ever need to add staff, i generally wont add someone who's had x amount of posts or anything, but its down to people i know well, or staff members at vcdquality. its the only way i know i can keep things in line.

i check my inbox daily (when im at home, im not at the moment) and if theres any ever problems, i try put em right. so far i haven't received any complaints about the moderators that work here, and if that continues, i see no reason to change the current line up.

Me frankly i as I said I don't care about being a mod.....but its been posted more than once by others...that to quote the Rock...sort of a "People's Mod" here... that has an outside influence here....

That's exactly what me and MG are talking about. I can't stand for threads to be thrown off track, especially when it's something serious like this.

Our plan was just to 'patrol' the forums, of a sort, and go around getting rid of posts that are there just to fuck with someones thread and (or) stupid in nature. And if they're a repeat offender, which I can name many, they get a temp. ban. After that, if they do it again, just ban them.

yea truthfully.. for a board of this size .. i think u guys[the mods] do a pretty good job of keeping things under control..

ive seen very few problems.. other than long obnoxious comments from kids who fake their intelligence and experience in the scene.

i really think i should be a mod here. i am not in the scene, i have no leet topsite or xdcc access, but most of all i dont trust anyone!

/me wonders if pHo will put on his sarcasim glasses this time.


actually the mods do do a good job and this board is a success if the goal is to spread information and ease newbies and modest users into the information they are seeking. i find it interesting that many helpful peeps are not mods or committed to the site.
