problem when joining

guys i usually join with tmpgenc or mpeg2vcr....most times there is a glitch in the middle of the joined file and sometimes the sound gets unsychronized.....so have u found any perfect tool??and something more,many times when i take tha joined file in tmpgenc or mainconcept i get error in convertin,but if i do seperately every cd there is no problem
