Hi everyone,
I just finished watching this whole release.
Are you ppl kidding me, this is near 3 hours long, 2 hours 47 minutes.
I'm impressed with this one, seeing the length and also not a single head popped up anywhere thru it, the audio has a hiss but it's loud to begin with. If you play it at a normal level the hiss virtually dissapears and the audio sounds really good for a cam on a standard TV, not hollow or tiny nor any audiance bkgrnd noise at all.
The colors are faded, and there is a slight green tint to it, which I suspect is from a YUY2 encode in order to gain speed, but nothing major.
The fight scenes are clear enough and I had seen no pixelation on the standard TV during them. The dark scenes are fine, and you see what is ment to be seen.
Not bad Pot.. as I said I'm impressed, no telling what the silver looked like.
This is more than watchable, unlike the cams of Birth and Saw.
As for the movie it was a nice History lesson.
The thing I have about a "better" release coming is that we know that certain groups, use their own cams, where as Pot uses silvers that anyone can get off the street corner.
Those certain groups have yet to worked out the White Spot issues and this movie has many scenes like Troy did where they shoot and Pan the battlefields, ( a big whitespot area if you remember), and also there are a number of times that the sun is directly in the scene or actually looked at purposely during the movie, so I'm curious as to how they will workout this problem in this movie, when they can't work it out in simple animations or other releases. Also this is complete from Title to end credits and we know that a particular group is known for missing it's endings in epic films.
Compared with the first cam releases of epic films such as LOTR, Troy, King Arthur, this is a nice release.
vid - 7
aud - 7
mov - 8.5
