Nice screener with minimal warnings. I was really geeked for this
one,sadly it lacks the majik of Dogtown/Z-Boys

nice vhs screener...full screen, as usual...picture solid, audio solid, just a bit of a tracking/warp line running across the very bottom of the screen, other than that rather pretty...

haven't watched the movie yet and not particularly a huge fan of surfing (i have nothing against it, just don't do it myself), but it sounds as well done as his previous documentary about skateboarding, 'Dogtown and Z-Boys'. that movie did touch on a bit of the surfing scene that later developed into the skateboarding scene there, so it's a natural followup i suppose.

thought this was a real good movie, even if you´re not into surfing which im not.
looked and sounded good to
only thing i didnt like is half filled cd´s
cant fill 2cds in vcd, do svcd

yeah, i'd agree with that, looks ok but not a fan of the content, will watch again to get a better grip of the flick, always takes a second view with me to get it.. lol

video is pretty blurry actually a tad washed out..sound is fine i'll agree there...does have vertical scrolling at times...a fine surfing documentary about the history of the sport and some famous locales. PRops on this release!!

Video is what you would expect from a VHS/VCD conversion
Audio is very quiet on right channel, very annoying on headphones (portable DVD), confuses the heck out of AV Amp (Home Cinema)
