ok so i hve a .bin that is 800mb+ and is there someway i can convert it to a .avi or whatever then split it?

You can burn a 800mb bin on 1 disc. Media goes by time not size.
google a encode mpg to avi. easy isnt it.

Actually, I don't know, I've never had to overburn, and everything I've burned over the past years has played just fine. And my new player works even better.

But I do remember reading here and other places that many people have had problems with playing overburned discs.
