Unhappy Got Video... Just No Sound.

Hi again, a few weeks back I started a thread about sky digital capturing.

I bought a scart to rgb converter & it works a treat, but it wont capture sound.

My sound card is a Creative Labs Audigy. Its got like 5 holes in the back.... Black, Green, Pink, Blue & Orange. I dont know which one I should be capturing from, I have tried them all & it still doesn't work.

I used one of these cables to capture... http://www.ramelectronics.net/asset...-3-5S-RCAX2.jpg
I dont know if I am meant to. Should I be using something else?... I cannot connect the Audio RCA to my PC as there is no port for it. H E L P !!!!

Looking at pictures of your soundcard card on the web, the second hole from the left should be line-in. That's the one you want to use with the cable you've got. You might want to check your manual just to be sure, but it's line-in you want.

If you don't get any sound from that, check your volume properties. Remember to set the levels for recording, not just for playback. Very often the line-in channel is muted.
