okay so i have this DVD image file and i want to split it into seperate rars.

I know how to do this fine, my question is, does it really take 5 hours to do a 4.36GB file?

running win2000 on AMD Athlon 1GHZ, 384MB Ram

WinRAR is very slow. I've noticed that it's anywhere from 3 to 5 times slower than it's Unix/Mac equivalent, running on comparable hardware.

well i had to change the settings from compress to storage...worked fine in like 10-15 min
