Recording Phone Conversations

What would be the easiest and cheapest way to record a telephone conversation?

Not covertly, just to to record my own calls. Pretty much every company now records phone calls but when one of their phone agents is rude, fucks about or makes unkept promises these recorded calls are conveniently lost. I want to keep a backup copy for myself.

Post ya

If you have a dictaphone or any other recorder with mic in one of these will do the trick.

Save yourself some money and act like a terrorist... The Police will record your conversations for you, problem solved.

Just to make you aware if u do decide to make a copy for urself, You need to advise the person in the call centre that you are recording them. If they refuse to be recorded, which they can, any taped evidence that could be used in a court of law cant be used.

Cuz if you notice in a call centre they dont actually say each call is recorded, but it maybe recorded for training and security purposes.

Just say the same to the call centre agent... Don't ask their permission, just tell them that you ARE recording it and then the onus is on them to hang up or accept it.
