i use winavi to convert avi and mpg to dvd and i then burn them to disc and they skip in the dvd player. i use good disc and same result. i tried different dvd players and same result. i turn off most/all programs when converting, i do not use the comp when converting. need serious help with this.

try using another program to convert ur avi or mpg into dvd....
give tmpg dvd author a try
