I am certain that this idea has been entertained before... There seem to be a lot of n00b cunts that only want to post in the 'Comments' section with twit stuff like "I couldn't download all of this movie" and "I wish that <insert group of the week> would steal this source and re-double-super-fantastically-encode this movie and make it much badder-assed!"...

I am in favor <even if it does leave me out of it for a while> of setting a Post Count Restriction on the Voting and Comments section of ... say... 100 posts. It certainly seems as though it may remove a lot of bullshit clutter. I am to the point that when I am going through a movie's comments section, the first thing I look at is the number of posts the user has. If it is less than 50 or so, I don't even bother reading their comment.

Is this logistically hard to implement?

You're right, I've suggested this in the past (although I reckon 20+ posts would be enough to remove most of the dickheads)... Apparently it's a bit of a pain to implement though. Still, if more people agree with us on this I could start nagging

Yeah, and I can almost promise that many are simply judging by the .jpg sample and posting while they are waiting for BT or Kazaa to load up. Tell me that wouldn't surprise you.
