When you say "a DVD file", do you mean you want to:
a) extract the VIDEO_TS folder to your hard drive to play with PowerDVD? Or,
b) burn the img file to a recordable DVD disc?

If it's a, then use Alcohol or Daemon Tools to mount the image as a virtual drive, if b use DVD decrypter to burn.

Right clilck on the img. file, then go to open with... Select Winrar, then extract to whereever you want. You don't need to use dvddecrypter. If you have an iso. file, and if you have winrar in the shell, when you right-click on the iso. there will be winrar options right there in the context menu.

do what neversofty said, this geezer above is talking bollocks, why make life so hard? just burn the .img/.iso with DVDDecrypter, awesome bit of software for your needs.

Mr. pHo pointed me in the direction of Stomp Record Now. I think it is loads better than dvddecrypter but for a noob you need to grab dvddec and learn then move on. Do it do it NOW!!!

.IMG file conversion

It sounds like you have an IMG image that you want to burn. Try renaming the file [whatever].iso and burning it using Nero. That worked for me with a copy of Ocean's 12 I downloaded recently.

Either that or just download UltraISO and convert the .img to an iso or use that prog to burn the image. Worked for me
