Bought this player yesterday , it really plays everything.
testet with : dvd , vcd , svcd , xsvcd , mp3 : works all fine !
i can say this is best for SVCD . Played even a VCD which is damaged (i think so cuz pc couldn't read it).
Damn good player for 150€ !

where did you get that one from because ive been contemplating of getting a new player since i have to buy vivastar blanks to get vcd to play on my samsung .(originals will play fine)
and the apex and densai havent tickled me because the build quality on them dont look good .id rather spend a little xtra igf its going to last me longer so this does sound good .Laterz

i have a dansai, its a decent enough player. its been going strong for months and its in constant use , and its also been damaged a few times (cosmetically) in my friends car.

i feel sorry that you have to use vivastar discs, as in my opinion they are complete shit i used to have to use Princo brand (good) or Vivastar (baaaad) on my sony to play svcds, until i just changed player.

always thought the daewoo players looked good from the stats on vcdhelp (the 3000n/5000n were the two that stood out) and it always irritated me they were setup for multiple voltage (ie both EU and US use) but never released those models over here.

Yea any one who is looking to get a Daewoo go for it cause my friends got one and it playes everything we throw at it. I will end up gettin it soon once i get some cash cause i like it more than my shinsonic which rly isnt that bad
