God Warrior.

could possibly be the settings on the dvd player. Or, and i am sort of guessing on this one, its the dvd player you first played it on. I swear that my samsung actually messes up the disks that i play in it so that no other dvd player can play it. But that is just me with my conspiracy theory. What model and brand is your dvd player.

In terms of DVD players for releases and burns ... Sony and Samsung are the worst (there are likely exceptions but I don't care to know).
