Yeh i got one of these a while back ,its a good dvd player but the damn thing want play cdr or svcd does anyone know if i can update its firmware or adjust anything inside so it will play them .Thanks in advance

this player is good as is for vcd/svcd but you have to use vivastar discs (try argos m8)
