I never realized the "h" is silent in "hear" . . .

DivX/XviD = Video codec
AC3 = Dolby Digital

I don't see DTS on that list.

Most DVD players require you to manually activate the DTS feature in the player's setup options, since so few DVDs actually use it. Whatever program you're using to watch them on your computer probably doesn't support DTS.

First of all, in the STICKY in this forum its says step 2: install XVID http://www.koepi.org/xvid.shtml

step 3: install DivX 5.2: http://www.divx.com/divx/download/

step 4: install DivX 3.11 Alpha: http://www.divx-digest.com/software/divxcodec.html

step 5: install AC3 ACM Decompressor: http://fcchandler.home.comcast.net/AC3ACM/index.html

I dont see any dts

anyway, I was using window media player 10, then I tried windvd and I still didnt get any sound. After that I remembered I had VLC on my computer, and vlc worked. But still, I find it weird that all the others players didnt work

And sry for my writing since french is my first language

I would still like to know how I could watch it on my dvd players since I dont have a sound systeme for it, just the speakers on my tv
