Use file mode.
Open DVDDecrypter -> Mode -> File.

Select all files (default anyway).
WinDVD 6 for example needs a VIDEO_TS folder to play DVDs from hard drive so make sure you create a subfolder after ripping the vobs and put the files in there.

If you want a 100% 1:1 copy, you'll need a DVD burner that is capable of burning DVD9s. Simply open Nero Burning ROM and select DVD in the upper left corner and start a DVD-Movie session. Now simply drag over the ripped files. Make sure you put them in the VIDEO_TS folder. The AUDIO_TS folder stays empty. Burn.

For a copy to DVD5 you'll have to downsample the ripped files either professionally via CCE or the easy method via DVDShrink, but also producess less quality.

Guides can be found on doom9.

A DVD5 is your usual DVD-R or DVD+R with a capacity of 4.7GB. A DVD9, also named DVD+R DL (have not yet seen any DVD-R DL) is a DVD that has two data layers (DL= dual layer) with a total capacity of 8.5GB.

Retail DVDs are usually pressed on DVD9.

i use dvd shrink. its easiest to use and i can still have all the menus an shit. imo, the quality is fine. when shrunk to around 80% it looks same as retail. its only when it gets less than 60 odd that you start to notice verrry minor pixelation and thats only if you look close. thats only on a 21" tv though, i cant afford a plasma!
