Review: NeuNeo MPEG4 DVD player

NeuNeo Dvd Player is probably the most intresting DVD player I have ever owned. Although I have owned better dvd players this one is differant then the rest. NeuNeo supports Xvid and Divx files and as some may know some groups encode with GMC and Qpel, I am not quite sure what it is but I do know it deals with the encoding process and this dvd player supports it. Also fully compatible with MPEG1 / MPEG2 / MP3 / WMA / JPEG video and audio file format [IMG http://www.neuneo.com/support/gallery/images/308_2.jpg[/IMG]As you can see from the image supports many differant types of connections.

I have been using this DVD player for a few months now and have had no major issues with it. Every file I have played from old 3.11 Divx files to newest Xvid release has played flawless except with maybe 2 movies that where done in Xvid and later saw they where nuked for not being standard Xvid. Major plus side to this DVD player I have found to be DVDR disk fit around 4 to 6 movies per disk or almost a Full season of a TV series Just recently burned almost all of Dead Like me (HBO Series) to DVDR
and was able to have a marathon non stop on my TV. Also firmware upgradeable.

Now for the downside of this player: The remote is horrible when clicking threw the files on lets say a DVDR disk you have to click enter before you can hit play otherwise it plays the last thing that was put on. 2nd thing is the risk of odering it should it come to you threw the mail damaged you're going to have to pay to have it shipped back. Unit goes for 109.00$ and 35 dollars shipping.

When I orderd this DVD player on Sunday afternoon from China I received this Item on thursday that same week coming out to 4 or 5 days delivery FROM CHINA!! I am not even able to get stores from California to ship to me that quick. So over all this is a good investment and very nice DVD player for the cost of it.

Rate this 8 out of 10

I have the new JVC XV-NP10SL that does the same thing plays 99.9% of all divx/xvid
plus anything else you can through at it. The only drawback is it does not like all -R media but all + is good. It also has a built in media card reader for your digital camera cards I got it at best buy for like 100$

NeuNeo DV308 Mpeg4 Dvd Player

I just bought the Neuneo DV308 Dvd Player. I am very satisfied with the player. It will play almost all xvid files. Some that are encoded with qpel or gmc play but not all. The ones that do not play perfectly have blockiness to them.

I am glad it is a 4 gen divx player that can be firmware upgraded.

I thought about getting the Phillips DVP642 but this is the review that sold me on the unit.
