Many ppl will be able to play the DVD anyway, as their player is region free and doesn't care about region codes. For those of you who gets a region code error in your player, you can wait for a fix patch to be released or you can easily fix it yourself this way:
(no re-authoring required, as some ppl may think! The DVD region settings are stored in the .IFO files... )
1. Extract the .rar files as usual, to get the .iso image file
2. Extract the VIDEO_TS folder from the .iso image file using WinRar (latest version), IsoBuster or similar programs.
3. Open the DVD in PgcEdit (freeware) or similar DVD editing tools
4. In PgcEdit, choose Utilties -> Region Code and click Region Free. Click OK and save the disc.
5. Test in software player (Media Player Classic or similar players).
6. Burn VIDEO_TS folder using Nero or similar tools.
Good luck!
Did you try this release on your standalone before doing all that work? The reason I ask is because this release is set to play on regions 1 through 8 (all dvd regions). Which means it will play on any dvd player no matter what region. Making it region free can cause problems as some dvd players will not play the disc without a region present.
