i cant get vlc to play vob or avi rars...mpg rars play fine...anyone else have that problem?

to view avi rars, open with winrar and extract with the keep broken files selected, and it should let you extract that small portion of the avi which can be watched in vlc.

not sure about vobs though...will check it out

EDIT:: seem to recall something about renaming the vob rar to .mpg , might be wrong though

i was wondering why i couldnt estract partial files anymore....thanx again vipah....youre on a role ....i ll try the mpg ext. later tonight

for the vob files rename them .vob and they should be able to play although it doesnt work all the time.
