Newbie

JKR is PAL (720x576)
Boozers state R1 Retail

And PAL is allowed after NTSC, and vice versa.

Grouch you are retarded.. JKR is labeled NTSC..720x480 29.97 so in what respect is it a pal??? Boozers lost the race on it... fair and square at least it seem so... Boozers should have checked to see what came out and didnt... Tough luck to them i guess... My 2 cents.

I don't think JKR is on the same level of sites Boozers are. So thats probably why tops sites saw Boozers first.

but still goes by overall scene and they can easily dupe check.. so even if they didnt see it.. still got nuked for it.. this place is wrong if you check anything that does nuke... so... my 2 cents.

My question is, which release is better. I personally hate the lack of information in the Boozer's NFO, and then I see this Joker release which has an even worse NFO.

For a movie this calibur, I don't want to D/l both and compare. But I am sure someone out there will

But I also got the Boozers release first. So I dunno what's going on myself. But then again, it took me a week to see Barbie and the Magic of Pegasus, so I guess I am not well connected

Well either way.. JKR won the race.. and you got 2 others to choose from.. grab samples, see whats best, and choose the one you like =P. Thats the true test of time method.. or download a few rars.

Eek, 3700kbit/sec on a 97 min movie (RE: XPDVD release)... Ouch... That is pretty poor IMO. That's like 3 gigs on the movie (with 5.1) and 1.4 gigs of extras.

At least they mentioned something about bitrate. I will see what the others have to offer. Most likely I'll get 1-2 RARs and see which has most movie bandwidth. Of course, I will hope that they used CCE, which unfortunately can't be assumed

Ya I'll take 3700kbit/sec over possible one-clickers anyday. 3700k isn't that bad to me, if the others left their extras untouched and/or removed only some, I'm sure they will all be close to 3700k, since xpdvds was rendered down to 2800k.

True enough. I really don't know what the others did (not to mention how many/little extras they kept). This will end up probably on my rental list anyways and just do it myself. I would have figured that each of the 3 releases are different, but they are all the same (in respect to what they kept). A pleasant choice would have been the XPDVD release, and an *untouched* video with no extras. But oh well, heard of this movie, we'll see if Duchovni (sp?) did a good job.

14 posts and none talking about the actual release. Anyway this was a good release nuke or not. My only complaint is they left in the 2.0 english audio track. So this release has 5.1 english, 2.0 english, and the 2.0 DC track. All extras are ripped.

v8 average bitrate is 4900

s10 no audio tracks stripped

m7 movie was decent, robin williams was good

some may like the xpd release as i'm sure the included extras has the alternate ending
