First of all, what type of DVD burner do you have on your laptop? Most DVD burners will burn movies if it's a DVD-R or RW disc. If your DVD burner can transfer the files on + or - discs then it should work. I don't see why it shouldn't. The type of brand name for the discs I use are TDK and they seem to work fine for me. Also, did you decrypt the movie then use DVD shrink to back it up? If you need extra help, send me an e-mail. I'll be glad to assist you in any way I can.

are you sure that the discs are actually blank, and that you give the drive a minute or so to register the disc
