Oh yeah baby! The way it's suppose to be done! MUAHAHAHAHA good looking out XPDVD! I haven't seen the whole release yet (only 20 minutes) but I'm sure nothing is wrong. Will edit if I find anything.

They state that chapter 21 on their release starts the end credits... if you look at the chapter selection menu then you'll find that it's supposed to be chapter 20 - LIKE FCR DID IT...

And all angles work for me with FCR Rerip...

Your right there chapter points are off by one. I checked it out myself and Power DVD States the movie is 1:20:50 but it goes beyond that point and finishes at 1:27:01. They screwed up . A simple PPF patch will fix that though.

Everything else is fine though. The chapter mistake isn't that big a deal to me.

Suppose its a good release, would of rather this came out first though, as the first one did me fine, and i have no need for the extras or the subs, so i will stick with the first FCR release for now.

I originally got the first FCR release, but it felt like a dvd screener disc. Movie just plays on it's own.

I didn't bother with the rerip.

But I'm going back to get the XPDVD one, may as well pick up that patch too even though ya don't need it, but I havent burned it yet.

How lucky is this? I missed the first two downloads and hadn't watched this one before the patch became available. (The patch works perfectly by the way).

Brilliant transfer, brilliant movie. There are juat too many sight gags to take-in in a single viewing and it needs to be watched again. Reminds me of Small Soldiers and the original Shrek. Some of you will need the in-jokes explained to you by a gay relative.

This title has only just been released theatrically where I live so full marks to XPD for bringing me this free preview. I'll now persuade as many people as I can to go and watch it in the cinema or rent it when it finally comes out here.

Can't believe I looked back and decided to get this release.

Well, this is DEFINITELY the release to get IF you don't have the initial FCR or if you had problems with the initial FCR release.

PROS: Menu loads right away, no "trailer skipping" in beginning of DVD, deleted scenes and other extras included, is a brand name release.

CONS: Same video. The deleted scenes are mostly the cheap "story board" animations and look like VHS.

Nothing here made me swoon and rejoice that I upgraded.

Don't get me wrong. With the "optional patch", this release is perfect. So, if you want the best release, get this. But honestly, unless you are a member of the "I want to fuck Chicken Little" fan club, then you'll probably be disappointed and never watch the extras.

Of course, if you have kids, they may appreciate it.

DVD-R 10/10 (with the patch) - NEVER would I notice the "chapters" are out of line. The movie is so short. But it is a decent movie, and this release is quality. But not a giant upgrade from the FCR untouched release.

I think XPDVD should have done a Walk the Line with just 5.1 (not even DC) for the video fans instead of this release.

sorry but i think this release sucks, and thats hard to say because xpdvd normally produce quality releases..
i've read loads of forum posting that says this is the best out there.. but i seem to be the only person having problems getting the movie to play.. on any dvd
i press play from the menu, all seems fine. then just before the movie starts there is a black screen which just freezes there. cant even play it straight from the chapter 1 scenes, because it goes to this black screen or just freezes the menu.. i've downloaded this from various places with the same results.. even used the patch with no success..

either very few have downloaded this version.. thats why nobodies got the problem i have or people just aint watched it yet..

maybe someone can do me ppf patch to get over this problem.. the same problem occures when i make this dvd movie only.. freezes at the start.. something strange going on if you ask me

thanks
chip
