This is actually a R5 DVD that was released. Since its Russian they just made it a DVDSCR even though its retail R5 crap. Still worth watching though.

Yea I agree it drifts in and out of sync throughout the whole movie. shame coz pic quality and sound quality are good. With no nags or scrolls.

V = 8
A = 6 (would have been higher but for sync problems)
M = 10 I love it great movie

Village Idiot

I watched about 15 minutes of this and didn't see a sync issue anywhere. I did notice some wierd sound anomolies, like the sound of a silenced gun shot in a scene where there was none. But other than that it's fine.

Are you guys burning this to DVD and then watching it in ur DVD players? If so, that's probably your problem. It's PAL, not NTSC.

Video: 8
Audio: 8
Movie: 9

it's KIND OF off sync lol... DVD players, PC, PAL players, BetaMax (lol) ... it's off-sync regardless ..

watch the ending scene ... actually just stare at lips throughout the entire movie and you'll see it; it's clearly obvious .. It stays on sync at times; but then it falls WAY off (when the talking is still going but the lips are not moving ... that's off-sync) ... but then after it falls off sync .. it 'magically' gets BACK sync'd

Still amazing for an early release (the movie hasn't even been in the theatre a month) .. definately the keeper til R1 comes out ..

Video - 8
Audio - 5 (if synced ... an easy 10 ..)
Movie - 9

kinda makes me wonder if this was an NTSC video source with PAL AC3 audio and it was synced with some horrid software lol ...

There are 8 chapters in this release and i noticed in about 4 of these there are sync issues towards the end of the chapter, mostly very minor, didn't really take away from the quality of this release, the most annoying thing is near the end of the movie, the closing credits music comes over the movie.....10 minutes before its due....although the original soundtrack is audible....
