When you go to purchase a dvd player capable of playing DivX/XviD, what does the dvd player have to say on it? Just DivX? I went to best buy and looked a several and none said anything about XviD..are they still capable?

It plays Xvid. MOST players that say DIVX will also play XVID

videohelp.com is a great source when checking out dvd players

a lot of the ones that can play it will say it, tho some don't say it, thats why i check before i buy

and download the v2 test disk.

You can then see players what the players can play..
