Someone just gave me a *broken* slim ps2, I connected it up stuck a game in it and it works

So what can I do with it? I don't feel like spending any money on games.

I remember reading you could connect a hard drive to it and run games (copies) of it. any links , guides?

How do these 'swap disks' work? Is there any way to make one yourself.

the last console i owned was a sega mega drive, so im not in the know how atm

you can do a tape mod, and get the swap disk for about $30

and you can download games.
