I think that this is one of there worst moves ever. He isn't Venom anymore hes Spidey with teeth and claws. What makes this most disspointing is that I thought that they were actually going to make Venom more unique.
Following trends I would hate to see what happens if they ever bring Carnage out. Maybe they will make him look just like venom but with out the Spidy symbol.

The hulk was just bad any way you looked at it. Of course you will have cg none the less. But if they would have at least cast someone bigger or put someone bigger in the costume.

That's the same/similar one that goes back to Eddie Brock in the late 80's.
I don't know what storyline that 'big' Venom comes from, but it's not the original Venom, I think that's the most recent incarnation, but only from a couple of years ago.
just relax...the movie will be out in a few months and then make your judgement...looking at a toy and saying its gonna suck is pointless

they won't put carnage from my understanding spiderman never defeats carnage. I think they could have used Brock(ex wwe wrestler) kind of resembled eddie brock in the cartoon series
this movie is gonna mostly be the spidey symbiate storyline i think, maybe spidey will have a "wtf was that" moment near the end, cut back, we see venom, credits, please go see spidey 4
its hard for them to go wrong with the venom/carnage/symbiate saga, it's just too good

I am not judging the movie I am judging the choice with the charecter direction. And the toy is a scale model so yeah in the end that is what he is going to look like. It is from sideshow. I would like to have found a image of venom from the actually movie. But no luck.
