Don't know if there are any fans of the show but I went to the official site earlier for some random reason and found out they are making a movie.

Red Dwarf the movie

Looks like it is in the early stages of filming so won't be out for quite awhile.

I will definitely be watching it but I would have preferred it if they had made another series instead. Hopefully the movie will pick up where the last series left off but I doubt they will as this won't resonate with people who have never watched it before.

Fingers crossed, hope its not a let down.

Its not going ahead... its been dead in the water for years! That pre development stuff that is on their website has been on there for at least 3 years now

aww shit yeah. I got all excited about that too. Saw the preproduction stuff and the 'making of Red Dwarf; The movie' and thought they had started filming.

Date on those pictures goes back to 2001. Fuck.
