I would have Jackass in mine.

Mostly because I never laughed so hard. My stomach hurt.

Oh and um.... I really liked 50 First Dates.

BANNED!

One mother to pick. Holy Grail is right up there. "Ni Ni Ni." As is Borat. "Thatsa nice. How much?" The Griswold's Xmas Vacation from National Lampoon is the funniest movie ever for that occasion. Shaun and Clouseau have to find a spot in the best ten too. Needs a little more thought.

My opinion as to the best. Ranking doesn't matter as consider them all on par. There are eleven. One is honorary.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail

Blazing Saddles

Young Frankenstein

Dr. Strangelove

The Pink Panther (1963)

City Slickers

There's Something About Mary

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation

Monty Python's Life of Brian

Shaun of the Dead

Borat

Yeah, I forgot about the Monty Pythons to begin with, added Life of Brian as that is my favourite of the bunch.

Borat I really liked, I just find it hard to consider it a movie as I watched so much of his TV stuff before hand. National Lampoons I loved, the Griswald ones only, Chevy Chase is excellent, I would probably put the European Vacation above the Christmas one though.

Finding it hard to chose which movie to bump out of my top 10 to fit Lampoons in, it is probably an exercise in futility to make a top10, I now also want to add Caddyshack and Spies Like us, not to mention Airplane and Naked Gun

It's love baby!

Man you can really tell the age differences from these posts.

Blues Brothers
Monty Python and The Holy Grail
Blazing Saddles
Caddyshack
Spaceballs
Airplane!
National Lampoon's Animal House
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
Happy Gilmore
Better Off Dead

If any of these movies are on, at anytime, I'll sit down and watch as much as I can. Can't say that about many others.

pjeer?

I've seen GRANDMA'S BOY appear on quite a few of these lists before, I can understand films I don't like cos they're not to my taste being in peoples lists, but I found this one just utterly unlikeable in any way. I just couldn't see what anyone would get out of it!

Anyway, 10 funniest films that my mind is inclined to think about at this particular time. No order, god no.

Ferris Buellers Day Off
National Lampoon's Vacation (tough choice, first 3 were all awesome)
Wayne's World
Shaun of the Dead
Freddy Got Fingered
Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure
Interstate 60
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Baseketball (v. tough between this and South Park)

I tried to mix up the inner-genres and picked my favourite 10 that aren't all the same kind of thing. So many to miss out tho And most won't consider i60 a comedy really, but its something that I have fun watching too much to miss out. I wanted to list Breakfast Club more than Ferris too ;(

thanks pho, How could I forget about Shaun

5. Shaun of the Dead: My gf bought this for me for my bday, this movie was fucking great.

6. lampoons xmas vacation: Watch it at least once a year.

7. Army of darkness: This was the best of the series. I love this film.

8. Hiding Out: This is an older 80's flick, It's a jon Cryer film, It's a stupid little comedy, I can't get enough of it.
