Set the Focus and leave it. Do not use auto focus in the same way
you shouldn't use Auto Iris.
Once the Focus is SET, you can (if need be) hide or conceal the camera
then if its safe to do so, Replace the camera to its original position.
The Focus would have already been set.
Movement of the cam ether a few cm forward or back wont make a difference.
Hell you could even sit a row in front or behind, In a large theater i doubt
it will make a noticeable difference.
