Alright, so the short version of the story goes like this..

Lease went up on my apartment in Philly.. so my old man asked if I wanted to come out to his place in Chicago to stay for a little while and catch up since it's been a long while since we've stayed in the same house.

Anyway, so.. he flies out to Philadelphia and we spend a day or so packing up the shit in my apartment. On our way out I was driving and something happened that caused a pretty loud "bang" in my truck.. I lose control.. doin' about 60 into a grass median, we flip four times and come to a rest on the other side of the road.. truck on the hood.

I came out of it kinda lucky with a broken collar bone, a few busted fingers, and stitches, my dad however was not as fortunate as he slipped a disk in his neck and is currently in a rehabilitation clinic for the next four to six weeks minimum.



Well, anyway.. I'm writing because pretty much everything I owned was in the truck.. including three computers which had some important information on them.. as well as (myself being a DJ) some remixes that if I can't recover I'll never get back.

I know a good bit about computers.. but, with everything I haven't had much time to research any solution per say.. so I was hoping that some of the more knowledgeable members here could lend a hand for recovering what, if anything, is left on the hard drives.

Aestethically speaking, the hard drives all seem to be in good shape.. I've plugged atleast two of them into IDE slots and they've both gotten power.. despite seeming to run a little choppy. Windows, however, did not immediately recognize the drives. This is as far as I've gotten.. despite the accident happening about two weeks ago, I've spent a great deal of my time in hospitals and things like that without much like finding time to fool around with this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
