The TV Set is about david duchovney trying to get a good show on tv, and having to fight the slew of reality tv (Slut Wars!) that the network is trying to push, and making sure his show doesn't suck.

apparantely it did well at tribeca, and jake (director and writer) has been all over npr lately, both for this and for "Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story," a fictional biopic about a musician (John C. Riley)...

from the writer director of zero effect (my favorite stiller movie), i've got nothing but high hopes for both movies...
