I recommend you save a much system resources as possible get the small and very effective virus scanner and do your own maintenance..
Eg. virus scanner - antivir
spam. spybot s&d - adaware combo
registry. hijack this...

Just keep up to-date on all your updates and do regular system scan and you should be fine.
