The heats on any TV talent show are comedy gold, watching those weirdos makes me feel more normal, I couldn't give a fuck once they've found the talented ones I dare you to watch a couple of episodes, although it IS painful at times.

Haven't watched either of them yet so can't say if there worth a look or not yet.

Just watched the pilot for the US version of Life on Mars. Colm Meaney wasn't a good choice for Gene Hunt with his horrible American accent. They would of been better off leaving him with his Irish accent or getting someone with a proper US accent. Things like that annoy the hell out of me. I don't think it will ever be as good as the UK version.

Preliminary comments on some of the new series are out. Life on Mars has kinda been canned. Fringe the opposite. Am watching latter now. Promising. Info available here.
True Blood one of very few new series that caught my attention due to story line. Well hillbillies are brain-dead. So is this series. Made for each other.
I gave True Blood a miss myself after a quick flick it didn't look the best.
Leverage I thought the dialogue was horrible and I deserve a medal for watching it all.
Middleman I still not sure if I hate it or like it.
The Best pilot I ever saw that never seen the light of day had to be The time tunnel remake, it was very well made good story and could of been a great show. If you can still find it , it worth watching.

Watched it last night and really enjoyed it. The plot is a little obvious, especially towards the end but overall it's good to watch and better than most movies knocking around nowadays.
