The thing with Southpark is, like the Simpsons; There's so damned many of them I have no idea if I'm watching old or new episodes because I don't download the current season, I just watch it (and enjoy it) when I catch it on TV. The fact is, I wouldn't reckognise S11 if it was wearing a party hat and running around shouting "I'm season 11"

My post however, has no point... Other than to say I like South Park when I see it?

Like NS says if not a faithful follower too many episodes of The Simpsons to really know where to start. My interest was tweaked only when the movie was released. So through consensus based on input from various websites watched ten of the supposedly “best” episodes. Pretty much scattered over the entire 18 year period as well. Enjoyed and now have had enough of The Simpsons.

South Park may have to be revisited. Hope it's still as randy as it was. Season 11 looks like a good place to start or may again go the consensus route.

used to like south park, quite a bit, but that was around seasons 1 through 3.... then i spent a lot of time away from the conveniences of modern life, and didn't catch up again till season 9ish...

eh, im old now, staying up that late is a chore, and my dvr gets full so quickly that i'm always a week behind on shows i WANT to watch, so shows that are iffy get deleted pretty quick.

I still watch South Park but mostly out of habit. To me it just seems there is one solid joke in an episode and just horrible jokes surrounding that joke for another twenty minutes lately.

I can't pinpoint where it began to 'fall off' for me like I can with the simpsons. I consider simpsons seasons 2-10 the 'golden years' and everything since just filler .. (I give season 1 and the tracy ulman show stuff credit but I feel the writers didn't have any polish on it until season 2).

South Park is awesome, however, any episodes that feature Towelie or Mr Hankey are a waste of time.

Simpsons I can take or leave, mostly leave , haven't watched an episode of that for a good couple of years.

This season of South Park has been hilarious. The tourettes episode was especially funny. The red-headed kid. Hhaha.

I agree that any episode with towelie or hanky poo is fucking wank. But those are the only people from it that i cant find funny. Maby u have to be yank to catch the joke of them 2

On the other hand stan's dad cracks me up! that big shit had me in pain from laughing so much.

I always smoke a spliff before i watch it which could be another reason why i find it so funny
