Which vista rls

Does anyone know any rls on Vista Ultimate x86 that works and stays activated. I'm thinking by buying it sometime in the summer or fall, but I'd like to see if I like it. I know people have complained that a lot rls (BIE) don't work well.

Thanks

Admin's If i can't post about this, just delete it. Sorry

Admin?

Baring in mind you want it for evaluation purposes only and that we WON'T tell you where to get it, I can't see how this thread is doing anything different to our normal movie release threads... So the thread should be fine fella.

As for which version I'd recommend... Probably XP

Sadly enough, 64bit Vista is in pretty rough shape. Its gotten miles better but thats considering it never went anywhere in the first place.

Unless you have a solid computer, IE 4gigs of ram and a dualcore cpu, You wont b satisfied and it wont be worth your while. Yes you can run it with 2 gigs and an older CPU but you might lose performance.
Grab XP SP3 when it comes out (which should be extremely soon) and see what ya get.

from memory, I think there is a pre-activated Dell Vista Ultimate that worked... I tried it on a machine a while back. Might be worth a look for. Seemed to run well when I tried it. I am running XP now though, but have no reason to think it would need re-activating.

Admin?

I travelled to the future and apparently they're both fine but you're better off with the April release as the patches on those disks are for software that hasn't been finished yet

They've been releasing these for a while so I'd expect they've ironed out the kinks by now... Don't quote me on that though

Im a bit late but anyway.......
i always stand clear of the preactivated vista editions, people use "vlite" to modify the data to incorporate the crack into the dvd. you dont know what crack they have used and how recent the crack is. its much better to install a "proper / unmodified" version of vista either from a friends disk or one from the net.

remember not to enter any product key.

once installed, use "vistaloader v3" - this will activate vista with or without SP1. if you use a vista without sp1, dont worry as SP1 will be offered via updates and your vista is always seen as 100% legit.
