So i'm sitting nursing a hangover playing MGS4, when suddenly the cunt freezes. I Reboot it and try to load game back up and i get error code 80010514. Tried few other games and same shit.

A quick google of the error code and it seems to be the fuckin RROD of the Playstation!!!

Phoned SonyUK and they confirmed that it was a fatal hardware error to do with the blu-ray drive, and they are sending out a courier with a new or refurb unit to swap over with my broken one. IN 2 FUCKIN WEEKS TIME! CUNTS!!!!!

my first one did the same (after 2 weeks of ownership)...something to do with a diode popping in the BR drive.

2nd unit still going, although a friend of mine is on his fourth.

I just can't get excited about MGS, even watching gameplay clips I thought it looked shit, so i'll give it a miss.

bluray or hd wasn decided

ps3 titles were very limited

xbox live was and still is the best online experience BUT is it worth 40 quid a yr ???

and with xbox failure rates iv had enough

also no hdmi as standard WTF
